Pebble Beach, CA
Designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant.
The course
Pebble Beach Golf Links runs along the rugged shoreline of California's Monterey Peninsula, with several holes hugging the cliffs above Carmel Bay. Opened in 1919 to designs by amateurs Jack Neville and Douglas Grant, it has hosted multiple U.S. Opens and the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The closing stretch along the water, capped by the long par-5 18th, is among the most recognized finishes in the game.
Signature hole: The par-3 7th plays downhill to a tiny green perched above the Pacific, often into stiff coastal wind.
